This was one of my favorite buildings in SoHo before its recent “renovation.” It was a constantly-evolving showcase of amazing street art. On this particular day, an artist set up to sell his wares. After a really cool conversation, I bartered for the small face painting that you can (barely) see here on the ledge. The artist was supposed to email me for copies of these photos but, unfortunately, he still hasn’t. If anyone happens to have contact info for him please let me know.
